Guest guest Posted September 4, 2010 Report Share Posted September 4, 2010 I don't know if they ever implemented this, but a few years ago there was an effort on some government agency to pastuerize all raw almonds even organic ones. They were supposudly using a toxic chemical process to do it. Here's a link from an old article I do not know what happened as I lost track of it. If anyone has any updated info I'd appreciate hearing about it. Haven't been able to find out.
