Guest guest
Since a number of members, including myself, have problems with fumes of some sort in the house, cars, and many with mold problems, I thought I would pass along what I found on the net the other day - Zeolite rocks. I read where people put it in their cars, get rid of cigarette smoke, paint & many other odors, A site to get more information is: www.nontoxic.com/zeoliteodor/zeoliteodorcontrol.html. I have my new Lazy Boy recliner (delivered Oct 28, 2009)in my living room but am not sitting in it yet, as I had comments that it could take several months, even years for the flame retardants to offgas. I am going to the store soon (Bed Bath & Beyone) and buy the Zeolite packets for the purpose of the Lazy Boy. Also, since the fireplace smoke getting into my mobile home is much stronger this year, I thought it would be interesting to see if the stones are effective for that. My IQ air purifier is more effective for the fireplace smoke than my Austin Healthmates, but this year the woodburning stink is so strong that my eyes and throat are burning some -- think the new condos across the street are the cause-- more than 16 buildings, 4 chimneys per building. If any of you try the Zeolite and get noticeable results, we would all like to hear of it. ..............Corky
