I remember walking back to the hotel all I could think about was running thinking if I could get my blood flowing it would help release some of the toxins in my system. Needless to say I ran most of the way back and when I wasnt running I was walking pretty fast When you feel like that, try taking a shower and changing your clothes as quickly as you can. If that's not possible, just rinse your hair (I use a small bottle of water or even a rest room sink) and change your shirt (I keep an extra one with me). Mold cross-contaminates really easily. If you go into a moldy building even for a minute or two, the spores that stick to your hair and clothing can cause your system to be almost as affected by it as if you were in the building itself all day. Chemicals don't cross-contaminate as easily. It's possible that the chemicals at Wal-Mart were what is bothering you, but it also might have been the mold. Wal-Mart uses a " hub " system of warehouses, which means that a lot of its products have been through a number of warehouses before they get to your store. Many of these hub warehouses appear to be very moldy. Once in Apple Valley, Ca., I drove by one and could feel it all the way out on the street. Thus, even if there's no mold in the store, you may be bothered by the items in the store. That's especially the case if you're at the super-hyper-reactive point that you are right now. I can go to the stores without a problem now, but I'm still affected by the contamination on some of the items. I rinse off anything I buy there before bringing it into my living space and keep anything from these places away from my sleep space. In general, I would suggest that any time you have even a SUSPICION that you might have been hit by mold, do the decontamination thing (clean hair and clean shirt). It should make a big difference in how well you feel and also may be useful in allowing you to learn the difference between mold (which cross-contaminates a lot) and chemicals (which cross-contaminate less). Guest guest
My stomach gets up-set in K-Mart. I don't have any problems with Wal Mart but K-Mart always hits me right in the gut! > > > Sue I don't think I felt quite myself when I was in Walmart, I didn't feel that bad but definitely wasn't myself, hard to explain.
