About age 10 is when we bought a wheelchair. Believe it or not, this helped

Elie deal with all kinds of outdoor activities and even some concerts and

things like that he never would have handled without the chair. We were

able to Disney with a w/c when the year before it was so awful we left after

2 hours and never went back.

I guess I am a glutton, but that was the year of the 25th anniversary and I

was DETERMINED thaqt we were going to go and have fun. And we did - with

the w/c.

Sara, I'm so glad you went back to Disney and had fun. Were you able to get

the disability pass?

We took when he was younger and needed a stroller -- the fast pass

made the day doable.

In case anyone doesn't know about this -- our children and everyone in their

party is eligible for the disability pass which allows you to go to the

front of the line. Disney is really great about it. I was all prepared with a

note from the Doctor and proof of his disability and they don't even ask to

see it..
