Hi there.... I have a couple questions....I am trying to understand

this Autism DS thing with , who is 8 now, in regards to

regression.

Do any of your children regress easily? Maybe out sick for a week?

ESY not long enough? Do they learn the skills again? Change of

teacher make it harder? Anything like that???

Also.. in regards to regression... if it happens with , is

this the DUAL DX fact or the lack of receptive language? Both?

Any good reading on this anywhere??? I am needing some info.

And.. then my other question is it really looks like we need to maybe

do sensory integration or address at school his need for hitting and

sensory input and change the way he receives and needs the imput? He

is hitting himself ALOT.. and it's not always out of frusteration...

it's also for sensory input. Then he loves to rough house and smacks

us alot. Although I think it's great he is needing and receiving

input... I think we need different ways to do this, KWIM?

Do I request a Sensory Integration eval come school year? We are

moving to a new district here once our house sells and I left a

message today regarding some of this stuff.... but would love any

imput you guys can offer!!!
