RealTime Laboratories does this testing. [] testing for fungal infection/Re: anyone doing nebulizer treatments? Dr Thrasher and Sally.. One reason I stoppeed the steriod.. fungus promoting potential.. do not udnerstand why a pulmonary md would prescribe these without thinking about this and checkign for fungal infection as the cause in the first place. craziness. I took nasal glut for a while and it caused a huge die off in my sinuses so I stopped.. afraid of it now and afraid of nebulized and what would happen.. that should tell me something and now I am wondering how to test for fungus infection in respiratory tract.
