Guest guest
the torch test is supposed to reveal poor functioning adrenals, because of low aldosterone i believe. i wonder if the opposite is true now? you have plenty of aldosterone for some reason? perhaps there are other factors that cause this symptom. do you have any adrenal tests? perhaps you could ask Val on NTHA adrenals about this, she might know. sorry i can't be more help Chris
Guest guest
Hi there, I have the same - until I saw your note on this subject I thought it was just me - my pupils are tiny and never seem to go large like some people's do - I have adrenal issues and hashi's and Lupus so not sure what it all means. Best wishes Mandy
Guest guest
Mine were larger when I had mercury fillings. But a friend's are smaller & still has her fillings, didn't live in a wdb. Seems there are a number of causes, including medicines. http://www.wrongdiagnosis.com/symptoms/pupil_constriction/causes.htm Red eyes is from mold. Kathy <candalah@...>  [] Small pupils Has anyone had small pupils as a symptom of mold or other contaminants in water damaged building exposure? I have this symptom and people around me are starting to get it along with itchy watery eyes, bags under eyes etc. This is effecfing cns right? Its very odd ro say the least
Guest guest
Diane, I've noticed mine being small since the wdb for 2 yrs. Lived in wdb 4 1/2 yrs. I don't know my gene type, put off -saying ins.won't pay for it.  Has anyone had luck w insurance paying for genetic tests? So, it would mean mold is constricting the blood vessels. I'm glad they improved w CSM. Kathy  <dianekelly7@...>  Re: Small pupils My pupils are very small and I have biotoxin illness.   I have been on CMS for 4 mos now with much improvement. I also have the dreaded genotype. Guest guest
Neurotoxins can cause abnormal pupil activity to light and pesticides are among them. If your building is routinely treated or antifungals/mildicides are in use, then that might cause it along with other aspects of neural hyperactivity. Guest guest
Thanks For the replies everyone. I do feel its biotoxin related for me rather than chemical but agree chemicals can so this too. > > Neurotoxins can cause abnormal pupil activity to light and pesticides are among them. Guest guest
Totally weird huh.. Its when im in certain places. The couch in this house is seriously cross contaminated..i dont go near it...as are outside chairs and increasingly my bed...joys. When i get this symptom I also get neck pain, headache, jaw pain, rings uner eyes, sore eyes and very very tired near very contaminated objects. Around just mold i get diff symptoms. My eyes have also started to become dry. Getting worse all the time and i feel it may be related. I hear a lot of people speak about the dry eyes, but not the small pupils. I saw my boyfriend today a d noticed he has this too, his pupils and eyes look strange and never did before and he has the red eyes as well. since hes living in an EXTREMELY moldy house i want to warn him for the hundrenth time what could be happening to him with a good idea of what the symptom might actually indicate. Hes lost weight too I wonder how many people does this freakin illness have to take down? Want my bf to leave before it's too late for him but he's one who though he believes me.. doesnt realise/ believe just how bad mold is or what it's done to me. What it could be doing to him. He says he'll move eventually. I have to keep trying to make it through to him before his immune system gets as screwed as mine. He believes i got ill because my immune system is weak but i believe it was the other way around. The mold/ microbial contamination caused the immune system to break. He gets angry when i keep bringing it up but i have to persist. Gah! Can you relate to the symptom? Thank you for asking. ________________________ On 2011-02-09 17:04:51 +1100 dragonflymcs <dragonflymcs@...> wrote: > > How often ? Guest guest
This is a very interesting post to me b/c I have small pupils and recently I found a pic of me from 30 yrs ago that revealed rather large pupils. I never noticed the pupils changing, matter of fact, I thought the small pupils were normal. And that my son's large pupils were normal for him. A health food store owner/iridologist looked at my eyes 22 yrs ago and said I had a very strong constitution but something was wrong with my autonomic nervous system. To my knowledge at that time I was not obviously exposed to mold but I was living in So FL where  I find it difficult to live b/c of the high humidity & mold in many HVAC systems. Earlier this week I was there & exposed to mold (I can smell the mold in the air). I have a not so good genotype, took CMS for 4 mos, now on 1 dose da and feel better but still have small pupils. Although, when I am exposed to mold I react, I think quicker but I seem to recover quickly. The key for my mold exposure is to get away from it, breathe healthy air, & take CMS. But the challenge most of us have is finding the safe place. Yet, we have to keep searching for it b/c it is out there. Case in point: I was in So FL for 8 days and I reacted in public library &  3 of my friends homes. Yet,  in another one of my friends apt, our rental property, & our motorhome I was fine. Back to the small pupils-it would be great to know more about it.   > > Could be damage to the SNS > > ________________________________ > From: Dana S <candalah@...> > > Sent: Tue, February 8, 2011 11:11:02 PM > Subject: [] Small pupils > > > Can't rememeber if I have asked this question before but wondering of anyone > else gets small pupils during exposure? Guest guest
Not the CNS the SNS which is part of ANS. Sympathetic Nervous System. The sympathetic nervous system activates what is often termed the fight or flight response. Like other parts of the nervous system, the sympathetic nervous system operates through a series of interconnected neurons.Sympathetic neurons are frequently considered part of the peripheral nervous system (PNS), although there are many that lie within the central nervous system (CNS). Sympathetic neurons of the spinal cord (which is part of the CNS) communicate with peripheral sympathetic neurons via a series of sympathetic ganglia.Within the ganglia, spinal cord sympathetic neurons join peripheral sympathetic neurons through chemical synapses http://www.sciencedaily.com/articles/s/sympathetic_nervous_system.htm God Bless !! dragonflymcs Mayleen ________________________________ From: Dana S <candalah@...> Sent: Wed, February 9, 2011 1:32:16 AM Subject: Re: [] Small pupils Yes, the cns? All you can do is warn them and maybe give them a list of symptoms. If they recognize them maybe they will believe you and get out. I send info to my friends who are in the mildy building I was in just in case So far no one admits they are sick from being in that blsg. Guest guest
Okay now that makes sense. I have small pupils to the point it seems like pretty soon I won't be able to see. I am also on edge, perhaps burnt adrenals? I have anxiety, I am a redhead, yes that makes a difference, SO if it is the SNS that makes sense. Anxiety: Does anyone else feel like they are always on edge, like when I try to relax I am not at all relaxed, in fact I feel like I could curl into the fetal position rather than sleep. Am I alone here??? Makes it hard to sleep and i wake up with aches and pains. Meredith > > Not the CNS the SNS which is part of ANS. Guest guest
Meredith, my anxiety is through the roof. This morning I had to go to the auto-body shop and then to Walmart and I honestly dont know how I did it. I was shaking, everything around me was surreal and to make a bad situation worst we just had 4 " of snow so the roads were snowpacked and extremely icy. By the time I got home I was a nervous wreck but the longer I stayed in this house the worst I felt so I left again, thank God the road conditions weren't nearly as bad and I started to calm down. --- In , " fontanafool " <productionking04@...> wrote: > > Anxiety: > Does anyone else feel like they are always on edge, like when I try to relax I am not at all relaxed, in fact I feel like I could curl into the fetal position rather than sleep. > > Am I alone here???
