Joe,

Why in the heck do you ALWAYS discredit EVERYTHING I POST??? WHY? You are the

sole reason why I quit posting and reading this group the last time and other

times before. Do me a favor, DO NOT and I mean DO not ever respond to another

post of mine! I am serious. I am sick of you twisting what I say and taking my

words out of context. I had enough of your crap! I know that one can be ill

from mold and not allergic to mold..I STATED THAT IN MY NOTE! AGAIN, DO not ever

respond to another one of my messages. You are harnessing me, period. I am

tired of it. I have lost all respect for you Joe. You were the reason why I had

trouble on this group several years ago which lead to me leaving then.

environment, and are feeling much better. Everything you said, below, is true,

but I am concerned that many Newbies may misinterpret your personal experiences

as confirming the " nonsense " that their allergy doctors are telling them. Almost

all allergy doctors tell us that " all we have is allergies, and all of our

ranting about " non-allergic " TOXIC mold reaction is a sign of our mental

illness. "

Also Joe, I am healed and about well. If I was a newbie, I would take advice

from the ones who actually overcame the illness, not from someone who gave up.

To anyone who has any immune dysfunction, also, consider having your vitamin D

level checked. Mine was incredible low. Being deficient in this vitamin can make

our reactions to mold worse.

Also, I have answered Joe more through this time. My answers are after the

the most natural way to treat allergies so I can't understand why people don't

consider being tested for allergies and taking the shots. I have been taking

them for 2 years and I have seen a mark difference in my health. It was not

always like this. I had several rounds of allergy shots since I was 24 years

old and none worked as well as the ones I am taking now. My doctor has been so

great at working with my body. If I feel the shots are too much, he allows me

to listen to my body and cuts back on the serum. In the past I would end up with

whelps as big as golf balls and miserable for days after the shots. The shots

my last MD gave me were a little rough the first few months but after about 3

months, my health got better and better. It is bad enough to be ill from mold

period but to have an allergy to mold while living in a sick building is double

trouble. Being tested for mold allergies should be part of anyone health care

who is living in a sick building. I can't understand why people dispute the

shots so much. A good allergist also recommends that a person leaves the

mold. There is no way of getting around the mold but to leave. I know for some

it is hard. It was very hard for me. I ended up in one mold environment after

another. I was out of work and caring for my sick mother on top of me being

sick so life was tough. I could not afford to move either but we finally did. I

don't think I could have lived too much longer in the environment.

Hi Jackie,

Here is the answer to the request that you made on August 20. The following

journal, with the link connecting to the abstract of the paper, states, about

allergy shots: " ...it would have been necessary to treat three patients...with

immunotherapy [shots] to avoid one deterioration in asthma symptoms " . [that is

an effectiveness rate of 33%]

The name of the journal is " Epidemiology & Preventive Medicine " , Issue 8, 2010.

Name of Article: " Injection Allergen Immunotherapy For Asthma " , by J.

Abramson, M. Puy, M. Weiner.

Abstract available [FREE], at the Cochrane Library, at this link:

http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/o/cochrane/clsysrev/articles/CD001186/pdf_abstrac\

t_fs.html

I hope that this fulfills your requirement of " proper references " .

I am very glad that the shots helped you, but many years of shots did absolutely

NOTHING to help me.

Your mold buddy, Joe
