Robin,

You might want to make sure that " mold growth " on the seams is actually mold

growth. It seems odd that it is showing up at every seam. This might be a soot

deposit from prior burning of candles.

A few tape lift samples from the suspect mold growth should only cost about $50

each. This could differentiate between mold growth and soot deposits. If you

need information on a qualified lab where you could send the samples directly,
