Guest guest
My rented house had a major water leak. The insurance did not cover. I had the best local company for remediation. I waited for the final mold test but got 2.5 pages text without any mold test. It is called: " Limited post-remediation assessment " and is a visual assessment of the remediated area. I then had a mold test done by another person and the test showed 1,240 aspergillus penicillum ans 27 basidiospores count/m3 and the house smells. The company thinks it is ok to move in, but does not call me back and is also not asking for the money. What is the right thing to do? I lose my rent every month. Guest guest
Kathy in my opinion no one can say whether your townhouse is safe or not but with levels that I high I would say don't waste another dime on it and to start looking for another place to live. Allot of it depends on your level of reactivity as well, I'm currently living in a house that according to the air samples has 1/10 of the mold your townhouse does and I'm still reacting. If you do decide to move take nothing with you if you can afford to put the things that have value to you into storage and when you do start to replace your personal belongings go as inexpensive as possible.
