Guest guest
Mayleen, Sorry but I'm trying to understand this part about supplements within a complicated bill covering other things. It sounds like one of those double negative exceptions so I can't quite figure out who is doing what. Is anybody following this who can clarify? Carl Grimes Healthy Habitats LLC ----- Thank you Carl, I am trying to understand this so can you tell me about this other piece of info: http://www.anh-usa.org/further-update-on-our-story-supplements- gain-exemption-from-codex-language-in-senate-food-safety-bill/ God Bless !! dragonflymcs Mayleen ________________________________ From: Carl E. It seems very inclusive and is much needed. I just wish they had included some of the other programs such as those in the Healthy Housing offices of several of the government agencies. CDC and HUD aren't included at all. Guest guest
It is a really tough issue. Some food supplements become drugs and stand the chance of being improperly regulated much to the detriment of the environmentally ill. Some foods need to be better regulated to prevent environmental illness from them being unregulated. So...as always, the REAL question becomes who is doing the regulating of what, for what purpose and based on what evidence; and how do you legislate that? The wording in the bill is not very clear. God Bless !! dragonflymcs Mayleen
Guest guest
might i add that what we need is less factory farmed and processed frankenfood and more organic, locally raised and grown in small farms, minimally processed food and then we wouldn't need to have all the food deadened thru irradiation, ultrapasteurization, etc. etc. and we would need fewer supplements because the food would be alive and chock full of nutrients! sue v >It is a really tough issue. Guest guest
That would be a good start. When you are ill though you may need supplementation as your body would use more of it supply to help it fight disease. So in some cases supplementation is necessary.   The sad part is also many are not aware of the dangers of those you spoke of and truley believe Institutions are watching out for us, our food, our well being and are falsely mislead. ________________________________ From: sue <svican@...> Sent: Tue, September 14, 2010 12:26:39 PM Subject: Re: [] Re: Codex Alimentarius - Not signed into Law  might i add that what we need is less factory farmed and processed frankenfood and more organic, locally raised and grown in small farms, minimally processed food and then we wouldn't need to have all the food deadened thru irradiation, ultrapasteurization, etc. etc. and we would need fewer supplements because the food would be alive and chock full of nutrients! sue v
Guest guest
I saw that isn't it horrible?? Our corn is contaminated GE food, papaya from Hawai mostly GE due to cross contamination of GE crops to all others. This happened quite some time ago yet they insist on doing this still.  What that company is doing is horrible running all food. Plants now have patents. Unbelievable.  ________________________________ From: osisposis <jeaninem660@...> Sent: Tue, September 14, 2010 4:43:18 PM Subject: [] Re: Codex Alimentarius - Not signed into Law  Blood on our Farms: Is Monsanto Responsible for 1 Suicide Every 30 Minutes? http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2010/09/03/monsanto-caused-an\ -estimated-150000-farmer-suicides.aspx
