Guest guest
What a bunch of hog wash! This is blaming the " environment " in which the poor reside for their illnesses while specifically avoiding taking into consideration the most logical illness causing portion of their environment which would have financial liability for those who own, maintain and control the poor air quality of the structures in which these poor people reside. I would LOVE to know who funded this " study " . Sam Zell or the National Apartment Association maybe? It is reminiscent of Big Tobacco funding research of cock roaches and dust mites causing illness via the Center for Indoor Air Research (CIAR) special projects to cast doubt on causation of illness from second hand smoke. CIAR was a special project of Big Tobacco under TASSCO. It was court ordered to be disbanded. Harriet Burge of Harvard and Platts-Mills of AAAAI, among others, were funded by Big Tobacco to promote this concept. In a message dated 3/20/2010 9:08:55 A.M.
