My daughter has had mold problems off and on and she has thinning hair. Her

scalp is also red. I think she should move she won't for now.

I don't like the idea that she is in an olderr mobile that has had water leaks.

She replaced lots of stuff, walls, floor, ceiling, etc but I always look at it

with suspicion.

Is there any way she could prove it was mold by testing? Her head, not the

house.

Welcome to the group. I'm so sorry about your young son's illness. I have

experienced a lot of hair loss and it started with exposure to mold. I never

realized until joining this group how many of my lesser problems are just as

mold related as my big problems and symptoms are, like bleeding gums, painful

teeth, eye pain (only in the morning) and yes, hair loss, are all mold related.

I'm glad you are getting your son's candida problem addressed. That will go a

VERY long way in helping him.

Hello everyone, I am new here, thanks to Delp I found this group.

My son has been on antibiotics over 50 times in his short life, they found

aspergillus in our home among other things that we believe were making him so

sick.

Now we are in a mold free home but he has a new symptom now, hair loss !! Just

in the past month or so, I have noticed that his hair is falling out, not in

huge clumps but enough to make me worry, I know as a mother, this isn't normal.

We do know that he also has systemic Candida issues, we are trying to get him

treated for that now, could this be causing his hair loss and severe heartburn?

Thanks

Hi,

Sorry to hear about your son.  I have had hair loss also.   May I ask why

your

son has been on so much antibiotics?   That is also a cause of Systemic

Candida

since it kills the good bacteria in the gut.

God Bless !!
