Guest guest
I too had a miscarriage, and wonder if maybe exposure from sick building could have been a factor, not to mention the fact that one day the air went out and I had to work basically in an oven, must have been over 120 degrees in there. The bathroom sink would constantly leak in the building with black stuff growing underneath the sink. Then the other building I was in has serious steam pipe leaks, and roof leaks that run down the interior walls, in another building: molded ceiling tiles that were never changed in a course of 6 years! I can't believe the state of NC would allow this crap to happen in its university setting, or any setting for that matter, rules and regulations need to be in place. Then another building, a new building, decides to put their steam pipe exhaust, next to the hvac intake!!!! I would think this would allow moisture in the hvac to grow bacteria/mold wouldn't it? Hellooooo, brilliant people and building engineers!!! And this is a school of engineering for god's sake!!!! How terrible a thing for anyone to have to go through a miscarriage, and on top of it all to know it was probably because the building you worked in was just plain sick, because nobody cares! None of the students, or employees would speak up and just say, hey somebody, there is a molded ceiling tile, that shouldn't be there.
