Hi ,

So sorry you are suffering so much. That is great that you have experienced some

improvement though, i dont really know much about healing the brain but wanted

to say be carefull with ALA. it is also a chelator of metals eg mercury so if

not taken correctly it can make thing worse by moving mercury into the brain.

There is a protocol known as frequent dose chelation where you take ALA based on

the half life of the drug, thereby minimising redistribution. Its meant to be a

lot safer. The protocol was created by a phd chemist who cured himself of

mercury toxicity. He saw a lot of people get sick using chelators wrongly... Eg

improper schedules or large doses and finally put together his own protocol

after research. Usual dosage is something very very low like 12.5 mg every 3

hours but you would need to read up on it yourself and see if its for you, There

is a group known as frequentdosechelation, also archives and a wiki at

onibasu.com.

I hope this helps you in some way. Please consider as most people get exposure

to mercury through amalgam fillings, vaccines, seafood etc etc and you do not

want to inadvertenly move any of it into your brain.

Also, have you read the shoenaker books? Not sure if there is info in them re

healing the brain?

I hope you can get some relief soon.

Kindest regards,

D

Consider reading Dr. Shoemaker's books.  Newest is Surviving Mold,

survivingmold.com.com  then Mold Warriors. You can check out his work at

www.chronicneurotoxins.com

Many have been helped w a cholesterol lowering drug created to remove bio toxins

CSM. Not everyone can handle it, can be hard on the stomach.

It's also about killing yeast that resembles mold.  Some have healed w

anti-fungals along w a gluten casein free diet, limiting grains to

good fiber to absorb toxins as they are released as in oats, etc. Gluten feeds

yeast/mold. Casein in milk creates mucus.

Focusing more on veggies, fruit, & meat. A pro-biotic taken 2 hrs apart from

anti-fungals to replace beneficial bacteria that's lost in killing yeast/mold.

Many have used anti-fungal nasal sprays. Dr. Shoemaker  has research many get a

bacterial infection in nasal cavities called marcans.  It's important to kill it

1st, then the body can heal with all of the above.

I might be sharing mylen damage.  I've been afraid to get an MRI w metal clips

from a surgery.  People get them w fillings. Just wan to make sure it's safe.

Learn about ALA as Dana mentioned. I hope you find healing.

Blessings, Kathy

I don't want to join another group but,,,

I get the idea that instead of trying to detox fast it should be slow and

steady? Funy because I just got humafulvate and I tried to double the dose for

two days and got sick. I quit a couple days and now I am taking it as it says,

one a day.

I was given modafilan by a naturopath and I thought it worked.

I may get another bottle after the humifulvate is gone.

Hi and Group-=

And for those of us w/conversion problems, I have found the reduced form of some

supplements to be much more effective. And for me, R-DHALA (aka: R-ALA) is one

such example.
