Trying a new doctor

I'm not sure I ever said, but I'm not one to go to doctors for my MCS. I use

vitamins and Jin Shin therapy and avoidance primarily. It has narrowed down my

life quite a lot. Lately though it's like a mold devil is just following me

around. Everyone and everything is moldy-which is a sign that I am getting

sicker again.

So after alot of badgering I let my daughters find me some appropriate

doctors-someone who knows what he is doing and offers a more integrative

approach. My daughter (who is a physician herself) found me 2 doctors in

Manhattan: A Dr. on and a Dr. Ali.

Dr. on was able to give me an appt. immediately because of a cancellation

so I considered that a sign.

He was wonderful! Spent OVER an hour with me asking questions and listening to

me. He took tons of blood to test for hormones levels (my suspicion is it's my

hormones), sugar, thyroid, vitamin deficiencies, heavy metal poisoning,

homocysteine and he wanted to test for glutothiane but it's illegal in NY! etc.

He suggested several things until the tests come back-gluten-free and dairy free

diet to reduce inflammation in my body; probiotics, NAC, quercitin besides the

stuff I'm already taking.

He said he is considering something called LDA-low dose allergen therapy but

also maybe chelation if it's heavy metal.

So If anyone is in NY area I really liked this guy-both have terrific websites

and are very expensive but it was time for me.

Follow up appt October 20th! Will report then.
