DLA - Appointed person for under 16s

Hi All,

Does anyone know if the law has changed on the above. I thought that someone

only needs an appointed person once they reach 16. I have just received a letter

this morning saying that I have become my daughter's 'appointed person' - the

letter also says that the law requires all customers aged under 16 must have a

parent/guardian appointed to act for them. Seems a bit odd as she has been

receiving DLA since she was 3!
