Guest guest
This is all so criminal. We must get rid of the occupants of the District of Criminals. They are not representing us properly. All these years United HealthCare has managed to keep their situation hush-hush too with their sick buildings. We'll never recoup the property or health losses we've incurred. Guest guest
Good grief. I am amused how they describe the obvious mold overgrowth as " discoloration. " God help us. I have been on realtor.com this week looking at properties. Scarey, very scarey. Honestly, how are they allowed to sell a home that is so obviously contaminated? I dont get it. Guest guest
We also asked President Clinton, VP Al Gore, Congressmen Barney , Kennedy and Bill Delahunt, Senators Dodd and Joe Lieberman AG Janet Reno, FBI Director Louis Freeh and many other National politicians for help and were ignored. Congressman Conyers would not support our Toxic Mold Bill because it held criminals liable. His was a bailout for insurance companies and had no price tags. We based our bill on that of Brockovich and her California group. We just added teeth for penalaties. Virginia and Ken Moulton
Guest guest
I couldn't agree more than we have a national mold problem that is being ignored by politicians and insurance companies. I have inspected thousands of homes in the past fifteen years and witnessed the devastating effects it has on the physical, emotional, and systemic well being of many people. It is the kind of thing that most people do not understand unless they have first hand experience. The biggest issue I have with trying to develop laws is defining the problem. I know how to assess a building and find both visible and hidden mold. I also have interpreted enough reports to know when a problem likely exists, even when mold concentrations are low. But, I cannot imagine how to develop a set of criteria that could be put into law. I am very interested in reviewing any proposed legislation that has been developed. Based on experience, disclosure and accountability in real estate transactions, landlord/tenant issues, and insurance coverage are the areas that are most in need of reform.
