Hi,

Trying to find a clean place to live temporarily to give my sick kid the

best shot at healing, ideally within driving distance of Dr. Gray in

Benson, AZ, but could be somewhere else.

So, I started googling " air quality " and quickly get confused.

Can anyone help educate me on air quality rankings and what they mean.

When I google air quality for a specific town or city, I often see more

than one index, sperlings, money magazine, other, and the rankings vary

widely, like a 90 and a 50 (w/100 being the best) for the same place?

is sperlings a good indicator, or is there a better one. what other

types of pollution should I be looking at and how do I go about finding

out about these things?

I can think of:

air quality

water quality although that can be controlled with enuf expensive water

filtration equipment

pesticide/fungicide/herbicide spraying

forest fires and controlled burns

toxic/radioactive storage nearby

access to organic food

ANY TIPS ON HOW TO FIND OUT ABOUT EACH OF THESE THINGS FOR A SPECIFIC

LOCATION? WHAT AM I MISSING?

ALso, if I mold test and remediate my San Francisco house and install

and keep running adequate air filtration and dehumidifiers going, why

wouldn't that be as good as a dusty little high desert Arizona town?

Just playing devils advocate here....

Thanks, Sue V.
