hormone replacement therapy for men

Before my mold exposure my Dr checked my testosterone levels and said they were

low and had suggested Hormone Replacement Therapy which I was willing to do. But

now that I've been exposed to mold everything I've read says to stay away from

steroids. Does that apply to Dr supervised HRT as well?
