Assuming that each golden ring, lord a-leaping, etc. counts as a separate

gift, you'd receive 364 gifts.

If five golden rings constitutes a single gift, you'd receive 78 gifts.

For the math, the easiest solution is to create a spreadsheet with the

numbers 1-12 in the first row and all cells below them containing the

formula =if([Cell above]-1>0,[Cell above]-1,0.

The sum of all cells will be 364. The count of non-zero cells will be 78.

(No Googling...Do the math!)
