It helps clear up many things for me. You can just swallow it, or the way I do it is cut up a clove and hold it under your tongue or in the side of your cheek for as long as you can. If it gets to warm or irritating drink something cool with it. When it subsides bite down the garlic again to get that alicillian (SP)going again then swallow when your done. I have used to clear my head, sore throat, infected tooth,Joint pain, bursitis in my shoulders, (I have not had any pain for years) Leg pain and its great for the gut. I have never had anyone say you smell of GARLIC KC Cinnamon And Garlic For Health by Larry January 24, 2011 http://www.groundreport.com/Health_and_Science/Cinnamon-And-Garlic-For-Health/29\ 33237 Cinnamon Helps Lower Blood Sugar Levels. Multiple studies have shown that cinnamon is the single best natural form of blood sugar control. Cinnamon (the water based extract type appears to be most effective) helped lower blood sugar levels between 10 and 30 percent. Cinnamon alone won't allow you to discontinue your prescriptions but it's a big step in the right direction. Always consult with your health care provider before embarking on a new path. Low blood sugar can cause problems too. Cinnamon has also been used for centuries to treat colds and influenza. Start with a saucepan, add two cups of water, a stick, or equivalent of powdered cinnamon or cinnamon extract, plus two drops of clove oil, or a few leaves of fresh clove leaves and slow boil for about three minutes. Remove from the heat and add some dark honey or molasses, one formula includes two tablespoons of good quality whiskey but that's your choice. After the mixture has cooled sufficiently, so as not to destroy vitamin C, add two tablespoons of lemon juice. Drink half a cup every three to four hours. If you don't have a head cold or flu but do a fungal infection, cinnamon has anti-fungal properties both externally and when taken internally. A few drops of cinnamon oil can help if you have athlete's foot and can fight internal fungus infections like the overpopulation of candida albicans (C. albicans), known as candidiasis or thrush, when taken as a tea. C. albicans is a diploid fungus, meaning it's a form of yeast, and is part of the normal gut flora. C. albicans lives in about 80% of the human population with no harmful effects, although an overgrowth can result in candidiasis. Diets high in sugars can cause an overgrowth of candida. Candidiasis can range from superficial to systemic to potentially life-threatening. Immunocompromised, such as AIDS, cancer, organ and bone transfer recipients and chemotherapy patients are more susceptible to blood and other systemic fungal infections (fungemias). My personal experience with candidiasis stemmed from a recommended high sugar diet while attending an Olympic training camp seminar. The diet contained large amounts of sugar, sugary foods at every meal and at least one large tablespoon of honey first thing in the morning. That diet put a person on a sugar rush and, in order to maintain it, you had to continue consuming lots of sugar. Everyone I knew on that type diet eventually burned out and had health problems of some sort from mild to life threatening. Males aren't supposed to get candidiasis, according to some authorities. I consulted with various doctors, including a sports specialist, and didn't find out what the problem was until I read a book on the subject. The doctor who wrote the book listed all the pharmaceuticals and their side effects. At the end of the book he mentioned, as and aside, that raw garlic did as well or better than any pharmaceutical and there were no medical side effects. The only side effect I experienced was people keeping more distance between me and them than usual. In some instances, that was fine with me. I hadn't heard or read about cinnamon being an effective fungal fighter or I would have tried it first. Garlic can be easily home grown outdoors during nice weather and indoors during the winter in pots.
Guest guest
I forgot to mention that it doesn't work as a pain killer per say, but reduces inflammation that maybe causing the pain. ALL illnesses in my opinion starts with inflammations that leads to other very serious conditions. It is a great anti-fungal and anti-bacterial. I swear buy it and really surprises me the results I get after each use. KC > > > I like the raw Garlic ounce a week. It helps clear up many things for me. Guest guest
I think easy ways to eat raw garlic are in a vinaigrette salad dressing, and another is to make a gazpacho type soup/drink in the blender with garlic, olive oil, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions and drink it. but my son highly allergic to garlic and supposed to avoid it for a year anyway... sue v. >I forgot to mention that it doesn't work as a pain killer per say, but >reduces inflammation that maybe causing the pain. Guest guest
What's the blender drink you describe Sue? You make a soup and then put it in blender? > > I think easy ways to eat raw garlic are in a vinaigrette salad dressing, > and another is to make a gazpacho type soup/drink in the blender with > garlic, olive oil, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions and drink it. > > but my son highly allergic to garlic and supposed to avoid it for a year > anyway... > > > sue v. > >
Guest guest
Thanks for the reminder KC, I've been eating cinnamon quite a bit, but I slacked off the garlic awhile back, kept forgeting to buy it. I did fell better when I was doing the garlic like you do, so I think it probably did help. I'm going to get back at it. > > > I like the raw Garlic ounce a week. Guest guest
When I was taking 3 cloves of raw garlic a day I would use one of them in salad dressing and take the other two (at different times) by putting through a garlic press, swishing with a little water and swallowing down like a pill (NOT on an empty stomach). Worked great. ---------------------------------- From: sue Sent: Wednesday, January 26, 2011 8:24 AM Subject: Re: [] Re: Cinnamon And Garlic For Health ? Guest guest
....I have never had anyone say you smell of GARLIC KC NOR HAVE I. In fact, I have asked people many times if I smelled of garlic and 100% of the time they have said no. Others have wondered if I could smell it when they had garlic but I never could. That was years ago when I could eat garlic. I can't wait to be able to have it again. Right now I am so reactive to it not only can I easily smell when someone has eaten it but I react to the garlic they breath out. :-( anita
Guest guest
Your Welcome, I never got the same results or the benifit of the Garlic by just swallowing it. I did that for several weeks and I'm sure it may have helped my gut, but that was it. When I thought about people taking nitro they hold it under there toungue ,or just in there mouth and it goes right into the blood stream. That is when I felt the a big difference in my shoulders the next day. I could not believe everything that was causing me a little pain, stopped. A natural doc said after forty, you need to start lubricating your joints just like your car. So I also started drinking a half a shot of extra virgin olive oil or sunflower oil. lolo. Yeap that may have helped the bursitis to. I went thru therapy several years ago for this and got the shots in the shoulders also. That didn't last long or worked as well as what I'm doing now. Alot cheaper to. KC > > > > > > I like the raw Garlic ounce a week. It helps clear up many things for me. Guest guest
Anita, I tried doing garlic everyday for two weeks to see if I could start sweating it out at night or during the day, and I could never get it to that point. An older man at work was going thru the same thing I did a couple of years ago, going thru therapy and all and I told him what I was doing. He said nobody does that even tho he believes in natural med. I said you wanna make a bet. They would rather see a doc and spend the big money instead of trying something as simple as this. Oh well there lose.lol KC > > ...I have never had anyone say you smell of GARLIC > KC > > NOR HAVE I. Guest guest
I know, I will never understand the resistance to such simple things, such simple easy experiments......... Maybe being closed has to do with our beliefs. I have learned how powerful our beliefs are and how much they can block us from seeing things, trying things, doing things...... They shape our whole life. I went through my life shaped by certain false beliefs I didn't even know I had and some that I did, and it has been a real revelation to me to have finally learned about that and be free of them. I didn't really know about core beliefs before. It has helped me to be more understanding of others and why they sometimes behave or feel the way they do. anita ---In KC wrote--- Anita, I tried doing garlic everyday for two weeks to see if I could start sweating it out at night or during the day, and I could never get it to that point. Guest guest
Theres only a few foods that I have an immediate negative reaction to and one of them is vinegar. Would adding garlic make it more tolerable?
