Subject: [] RV water supply

We have an RV and I would like to make sure that the fresh water supply does not

have anything growing in it after setting for a few weeks in our hot humid

climate in Florida. It has been recommended to put bleach in the fresh water

tank and let it set for 24 hours and then let it run through. Wondering if

something else besides bleach would be less toxic. Maybe peroxide, tea tree oil,

or white vinegar. What do you think? Thanks

IMO, when you are dealing with what holds your water supply, I would follow the

directions. There is nothing like getting sick off of water. I had a bottle of

water which had sat in my refrigerator for a long time after being in my hot

car. I got sick off of it.
