Guest guest Posted January 26, 2011 Report Share Posted January 26, 2011 yes and antibiotics, steroids, sugary processed diet can all contribute to gut flora imbalance, and also we all get our initial gut flora from mom thru vaginal delivery and breast feeding, while in the womb our guts are sterile--no gut flora, so if your mom had damaged gut flora from whatever, or if you were c-section delivered, not breastfed, then you didn't get a good gut flora start...then today the kids given so many courses of antibiotics.... dr rea told us about 5 or 10% of his patients have it, my son had it, treated w/ketaconazole and nystatin, no change no change no change...just like with every other therapy/treatment to date... sue v >I know many of the patients at Dr. Rea's had candida overgrowth.
