I have published papers with Dr. Kilburn. He and I agree, it is brain damage

for all of the conditions described in this post.

Re: [] Re: Leaving/ posting requests

So i searched for the Dr and found this brief summary I thought I might share:

http://www.mcsbeaconofhope.com/MCS%20BOH/kaye_kilburn.htm

sounds to me that it might be a good idea for some well know doctors to get

together and write a article, " MCS,CIRS,TE,and WDB exposures, What we knew than,

What we know now " kind of thing.

newbees used to come to the group and ask " What do I have " now they come here

and most say, " I have MCS " . I dont care for the term at all myself, but it's

getting used, alot. if doctor are now diagnoseing this more, at least it's a

start, isn't it?

Dr. Kilburn has written books on this subject. You can contact him my emailing

him at khkilburn@...

The books are not costly and delve into a variety of toxic exposures. My

favorite is title " Endangered Brains "

Then there is habit. Habits are hard to break.  That is how I first knew of

it ,

old habits hard to break.  The term does not agree with the condition. That is

Multiple Chemical Sensitivity.  Can the words be changed and keep the term or

something. ??  Just a  suggestion.  after all I do believe that is how the

disease is recognized in Japan and Germany,  who already have ICD codes for it.

The Austrian Government Department of Health states in their letter that

Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS) is officially recognized as a physical

disease because it has the code T78.4 in the register of International

Classification of Diseases , ICD-10.

Sorry to hear that. Do you have a PDF on that you can share?  One of the books

is $75.00  I for one cannot, but would love to be able to.  But I cannot even

recieve mail as it impairs my breathing severely.  Cannot imagine a new

book.

Years ago, when I fought the pesticide wars in my town in VA, a citizen borrowed

a copy of " Chemical Brain Injury " , by Dr Kilburn from a lending library that

uses the mail. This was good as the book then listed at over $100. We passed it

around town, and it might have kept the town from spraying for a few more years,

but eventually they went back to spraying.

Thanks, really but I am very very careful with paper items. Any pesticide on

it,

chemical odors , lingering perfume anything triggers anaphalactic reaction for

me.  I  put papers if any in my computer in files usually PDF, this ,

fragranced

products year I found safer paper for me to use however still cannot recieve

mail via US postal, just cannot breathe at all, face swells up,  just safer

for

me not to take that risk.  I also get skin burns .  Bad ones.

God Bless !!
