Guest guest
Carolyn, You'ew making this to complicated. Go into Lowes. Go to the garden dept. Go to the area where they sell seeds. You will find trays for seed starting. They have them empty or with plugs, etc. They generally come with plastic lids and with out holes. Its ok to buy with out holes if you don't over water and get the medium too wet. If you get the medium too wet, it might sour. ew Re: Re: If anyone has made any recent purchase from mshydro.com Do you get the trays without holes in them? Or do you use a tray with holes and put it in a tray without holes? They are cheap but shipping is terrible so I'm going to look at Lowe's. Might find some at a nursery if you bought several plants and had them on a tray or got ones for the yard on a flat but then have to sterilize it. Guest guest
Sorry EW, but I have to start from kindergarten level.  I missed this class in kindergarten, right through college all the way through law school and that was when I was 50. Now they are teaching kids to grow food (thanks Obama).   When you say the top plastic, do you mean the see through top? Ones I saw didn't have tops but just the flats were you start plants but some had holes and some didn't. I do have my coir block so long as I can find it. I am planning on getting an area to keep it in where I don't lose it. I have to make a Target or Lowes run today or both. Thanks.   Carolyn Wilkerson  To: sproutpeople Sent: Monday, May 14, 2012 1:27 PM Subject: Re: Re: If anyone has made any recent purchase from mshydro.com  Carolyn, You'ew making this to complicated.
