is a very short but reasonably good introductory video on

allergens and irritants in the home. It may be helpful for those of

you who need to educate family, friends, and others.

Note that it includes the many of the possible multiple sources

exposure that we discuss here (other than just mold). It also

includes resources for inspection, plus other videos.

Disclosures:

1. Only one lab is listed but there are another half dozen or more

equally qualified. Cochrane & Associates does a lot of work for

that one lab (which they make no secret of, BTW) but do

excellent work for many in our industry.

2. The videos are oriented to the IAQ and fire/water damage

industry so other resources, especially medical, are not included.

3. I am president of one of the resources listed (IAQA), and my

CIEC certification is from the independent ACAC organization,

also listed.

I, and others on Sickbuildings, have additional qualifications from

competent and honourable organizations which are not listed. In

other words, this is an accurate, but not comprehensive,

resource.
