Guest guest
I have been taking " Custom Probiotc " for a long time now. They are very expensive, but do not have any other junk in them and a very high count of bacteria. My only problem is ...... I don't see any improvement. I am thinking they are not really making it through the stomach acid to get to the bowel. First question, does anyone implant their probiotics rectally and does it help? Second question, would you like to take a poll per say to see what probiotcs everyone is using that are helping? Woops one more question, has anyone ever tried fecal implants? I know that sounds awful and maybe it is, but it might be worth it to get good bacteria back in our systems. It is amazing what you consider when your heath is bad! Guest guest
What's a fecal implant? I think too much is made of 'quality of probiotics' that is just a money making thing. Reason is I had too many good bacteria killed with an overdose of antibiotic when I was a kid, about 10. All the moisture in my mouth dried up and result was ulcerated mouth...in other words the moisture in mouth which was made by beneficial bacteria in mouth as ENT described to me, caused the ulcers. I could hardly swallow my own spit without pain. Probably too young and happened to fast for overgrowht of candida. Maybe at that age didn't have much candida in system. Anyway, he told my parents to give me buttermilk and gone overnight..so enough beneficial bacteria in buttermilk to replenish bacteria. If probiotics aren't doing it, probably something getting in their way of getting established, ie. probably candida already established and have to kill the candida OR other microbe that has established itself there. Implants again, not sure what you mean but you can take a probiotic and put it there. Id use bifidus as the one that is supposed to be in lower bowel. Not sure if other type would work it's way up or just die. I read bifidus is lower bowel bacteria. Anyone know any different if other bacteria in lower bowel? > > I have been taking " Custom Probiotc " for a long time now. Guest guest
Deb Are you taking antifungals? The probiotic won't help if you don't also kill the candida. The probiotic I am using is very expensive too. $75 for a little 2.1 oz jar, gasp! The only reason I am using it is because 1) I can take so little at a time it is lasting me forever, and 2) it is encapsulated so that it can make it all the way to the intestines. It has 12 different strains of bacteria in it from 2+ billion to 24+ billion. I think three-lac is supposed to be able to make it to the intestines too and also kill candida. I've never tried it and don't know about cost. anita ---From: deb3857wick I have been taking " Custom Probiotc " for a long time now. Guest guest
I posted about 10 tomes in the past 2 months about Three Lac, how it was made to eat candida, and how good it was. Gee fingers getting tired of typing the same words > > I have been taking " Custom Probiotc " for a long time now. Guest guest
I bought the TreLac. Good stuff. I put powder in my mouth without water. I like the way it coats the inside of my mouth first as alot of probiotics go past there. > > > > I have been taking " Custom Probiotc " for a long time now.
