Diane, I would like to know more about how to successfully garden in the summer

down here.  I have a few things out but not going that great.  Everyone says

have to wait until fall.  Ihave a whole bag of seeds that would probably fill my

yard if I planted everything, LOL, but I would like to get more veggies in.

right now I have lettuces from my Aerogarden in the sunroom.  At least I did

until husband went out with scissors to cut it back as leaves were really big.

he sort of shaved a couple of them and I hope they come back.  When I took off

some before they came back but I never scalped them before.  Got a lot of

lettuce off them though.

I do have some beans out (ants ate the corn) and some strawberries and a few

tomato plants but they are only  4 or 5 inches talll.  I have some carrots

planted with them and see the tops up but have no idea what is on the bottom.  I

haven't got out much as I have a staph infection and husband had watered some.

I haven't put anything on for the ants.  I have to keep feet up when I sit down

so can't even get on computer as I'd like.  I can go out now though but can't

get my wrappings wet.

Thanks.  I'll go back and find  your email and check out the places you listed.

Have any photos of your cloth covers?
