I guess I am asleep but the only " you know who " that I know is Voldemort. Am I

woefully behind the times?

I figure I have nothing to hide except from people trying to steal my ID. The

groups they give or sell to are not likely to be looking for a new ID.

I worry about predators and burglars.

Thanks. I got a 3Tb external drive to back up computers and then can delete

bunch of stuff. Filled up my holdback up drive. Had it at Staples for $159 and a

15% off the whole bag for another $24 off the 3Tb. Think that should last us

for awhile. Now need to figure out how to combine my old drive with new one.

Can then take old backup when going on trips. It fits I'n my computer case.

This one wouldn't but not huge either. Tried to sell me a cloud for $60 a month

but not worth that to me. I think I can figure out how to handle a piece of

machinery easier than a cloud. It is too etherial to me.

When I do a backup then I am deleting stuff. Will delete history first. Might

check husband's first. LOL.

He is the nemesis of Harry Potter in Rawlings novels.  I thought everyone knew

all about Harry Potter.  No one but Harry ever says the bad guy's name and

everyone one says, " You know who " .  He is the one who can't be named.  I am not

sure I spelled it right but it is Voldemort.  My kids, grandkids and I all read

and watched the Harry Potter series. 

 

So who is the other " you know who " ?

You are right as I am only a muggle and I don't want the Deatheaters to come

after me.  Of course maybe they are restricted to the British Isles.  I used

to claim to be a witch but then I fell in love and we lose all our powers. 

Wonder if you get them back when you fall out of love?  But then I went and got

married again.  25 first time and 20 thus far this time.  Guess I'll keep this

one in spite of his faults as it is to much trouble to look again. 

 

Maybe I'm not eating the right sprouts to get ay powers back.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.  Looks like gnats would be looking for

something to bite on except me.  Must be hat light that shines within me.  Or

could be my hair dressing I guess, but I added just a teensy bit of mousse.

 

Does it matter if funnel is plastic or metal?

Carolyn, do what I do, and build some gnat catchers.

Get a small mason jar, put some apple cider vinegar and a few drops of

dishwashing liquid. then make a funnel and tape it to the mason jar.

The gnats will be attacted by the smell, they will fly INTO the jar, but they

can't get out because gnats are attracted to the light and they are so stupid

they will crawl on the inside wall of the jar thinking they can get out. They

will eventually fall into the liquid and then you shall NO MORE GNATS!!

You missed some good fiction.  I saw very positive aspects.  Taught bravery,

honor, fighting for good but not picking a fight.  Some ministers told

congregations not to read because it was about witches but don't think they ever

read it.  My sister said she had heard what some said it being about witches

and changed her mind when she found that my son read it and let his kids read it

as she thinks he is teriffic and is such a good kid.  (he is 40 but you know

how your kids and nephews and nieces are).  He is just such a great dad and is

intelligent and the family is also strict.  Kids are teriffic too.  it hasn't

influenced them for bad at all.  They would not consort with witches in life,

but HP is a fairy tale like Snow White or Cinderella.

You are probably right abot the actual words.  And then you jumped to another

fairy tale fiction with Star Wars.  They were great too.  But the ones on tv

that weren't original aren't fun like the others as they are more " B " quality. 

 

I could use a little force with me to get me up and out to garden to care for

plants  and to sprout in one of my sprouters.  By the way, I don't see any

more gnats right now and I just killed a fat spider.  I guess I should have

thanked him first.  Will still do the cider vinegar or just cider and soap if I

can't find vinegar..
