<< Answer: One of my biggest obstacles was time. I had to do this or

that, you know. How I overcame that: I work out as soon as I get

home from work no matter what. I accept no calls, run no errands,

check no homeworks, cook any dinner, do any laundry, I don't even

talk to anyone. I walk in say hi, change into my workout clothes, put

the tapes on ( don't care what's on tv or who was watching what) and

start working out-no interruptions allowed until I'm finished. I guess

I became very selfish for at least one hour a day. We deserve to do

I love your answer! A lot of people will be helped by hearing about this

practical approach. And, no, you are not being selfish. By taking care of

yourself, you are taking care of your family, too. What a great example you

are setting for your kids.

thanks Janette,

along with time I lumped having priorities and explained how a work-out can

energize the body and even the mind to tackle all other priorities better too

Like you, I work-out without even questioning it when it is my work-out time

but keep it in the morning believing it is harder to stop life from

interfering as the day progresses so you have even more will power than me

and yes, we all deserve an hour to make ourselves a healthier person!!!

Barb

who knows most people watch way more than an hour of tv a day

Here are a few reason some people quit Barb!

Depression

fear of failure

fear of success

self sabotage

time restraints

burn out

boredom

frustration

How do you overcome these things? I'll let you know when I figure it out ;)
