Guest guest
I used Thorne SF722 for yeast. You need a doctor's OK or a consult with a staff nutritionist. Never finished the bottle as I was under a lot of stress & it turned me into a chocolate maniac...the SF 722 AND the stress. A friend of mine swears by Kolorex for yeast. I also have great results with Candex & Ness formula 801. Lately I am taking something heavy duty - Two Feathers Healing Formula. I started it for internal growths (with my level of MCS surgery is out of the question) It gets rid of all kinds of things including yeast & parasites...even moles, warts, skin tags ! (NFI) It makes me queezy & sometimes I wonder if it's a learned response from when I first started it & only drank an oz of water with it. (You're supposed to drink 8oz) But just when I want to give up I see some other problem I have vanishing from taking it. Other products that are good are by ASN Maxam BSAID & also PCA RX. BTW their Endotropin helps with brain fog (who knew some of it was hormonal) & the AFX got me out of a seizure. I call them my magic sprays - they come in a spray bottle to spray under your tongue. > > I was diagnosed with a yeast and parasite unknown in humans by stool culture. Has anyone ever had this diagnosis, if so what did you do? I can't seem to find a doctor to help and I have been on a anti-candida diet for 4 years and not making much improvement. Also tried all the over the counter anti-fungals. etc. > > Thanks >
Guest guest
I am working with the GAPS protocol, developed by Dr Natasha -McBride. It is designed to heal gut dysbiosis-bacterial & yeast infection, parasites, etc. and the illnesses that are caused by them. She developed it to heal her son of autism. Her book is called Gut & Psychology Syndrome. GAPS involves diet and probiotics, detox baths, etc. There is a support group. People on GAPS have recovered from many types of problems, including yeast & bacterial overgrowth, depression, manic-depression, OCD, autism, IBS, immune problems, etc. Dr NCM's web site is www.gaps.me There is a free video of a lecture she gave recently in London. http://vimeo.com/10507542 I am thinking lately that GAPS would help people with mold issues. I am sure it is helping me. Dr Shoemaker made important discoveries about the relationships of micro-organisms in the external environment. Dr McBride has observed the influence on health of imbalance in the internal microbial life in our gut. I think restoration of proper gut flora may help us overcome the toxicity of mold exposure. I am working along this line for my recovery, as I have CFS/MCS also. My fatigue is much less now & I have been relieved of manic-depression entirely since being on GAPS diet. Guest guest
Kathleen, I am familiar w/GAPS also, and have heard of many success stories about it, please keep us posted on whether it helps w/your mold/mcs. I tried it on my 20 yo sick son but he didn't have the will to stick with it for more than a couple weeks... Now I am trying something else that is much much easier but it is too soon to tell if it will help him. It is a probiotic that his doc says is in a " whole different class " , his clinic has had about 10 of their most enviornmentally sensitive patients try it, with 6 showing huge improvements, a couple miracle cures.... The probiotic is called progurt, see progurt.com. It contains human strains that can colonize the gut, unlike regular probiotics which are bovine and do not colonize the gut. My son doesn't like yogurt so we just mix the progurt powder in water. It will either help or do nothing, doubt it will cause any harm, other than to my pocket book! Note: I have absolutely no financial interest in this product... sue v. >I am working with the GAPS protocol, developed by Dr Natasha - >McBride. Guest guest
my stomach was tore up pretty bad from my exposure. after a few years of elimanating everything that caused it to get upset, I than went on a diet of mainly just broccoli or zucchini and white meat for about 2 years, that has helped me tolerate foods that I couldn't tolerate before. I actually ate a couple of corn chips the other day and my stomach tolerated it. before, even a tiny bit would have tore me up. I still dont want to push that and well never be much on consumming corn products again. it was hard trying to figure out what affected my stomach and what didn't, I had limitied food intolerance testing which helped. for those that dont get that testing it may be that a mainly greens and white meat diet for a while well help them, than slowly test other things to see what you can tolerate. I think the greens and white meat diet helped my stomach heal some. still have to be careful and even some chemical exposures can still upset my stomach and bowels but as far as eating, I have more control of keeping the stomach problems in check. > > I am working with the GAPS protocol, developed by Dr Natasha -McBride. Guest guest
PS, as far as the influx/reflux thing going on with my stomach that it seems has not improved with time or anything else, although it may add to my toxic body burden, the only thing I have found to help that, which can get very painful is drinking alittle diet pepsi which helps me burp and kindof makes up for the lack of acid in my stomach. and for my it is a lack of acid, not to much acid, may be the oppisite for others. my understanding of this is that possably I'm getting more bile into my stomach than some others. > > > > I am working with the GAPS protocol, developed by Dr Natasha -McBride. Guest guest
seems like with us who have mold exposure related stomach problems, theres a point where our immune systems may rid the body of unwanted bad yeast, after we are out of that environment for awhile but other damages aquired from that exposure well be problematic. the immune system is pretty amaseing. so, might depend largely on the immune system functioning. than theres always re-exposures by way of inhalation and ingestion. > > > > > I am working with the GAPS protocol, developed by Dr Natasha -McBride. Guest guest
Have you tried taking acidophilus every day? It has helped me so much and it has taken me a long time to realize that a lot of stuff " happens in the gut " and the " gut " is where you absorb your nutrients and probably your toxins, as we have been told. I have always maintained that I might have been sicker had I not been using wheat and oat bran every day, before, during and after my " exposures " and think that some of the harm was " mitigated " or " reduced " just by that habit. It might have saved me from colitis or " leaky gut syndrome. " Pro-biotics seem have a powerful " restorative " and soothing effect on many people. I hope you feel better. > > > > > > I am working with the GAPS protocol, developed by Dr Natasha -McBride. Guest guest
Jeannine: Do you take Betaine HCL (hydrochloric acid) for your acid deficiency? Dr. Rea puts almost everyone on that at EHC.
