I had problems with epidural they took it hours later because I done a rupture on the cervix and lost a 500ml of blood they had to open me up again take care of it .....but they took it off with no anaesthetic and I have a lesion on my spine and lower back pain since then.

and this not so unusual as you may think there is a lot of ladies that get injuries after epidurals ....

I know, but I'm not close to the mother and I can't interfere - only gently

suggest and support.

Is there anything she could do to help the baby's gut flora? The baby is getting

breast and bottle. Are there any probiotics that can be safely given to a very

new baby? Should any supplements go into the mother?

I was lucky - no problems afterwards.

Oh gosh that sounds nasty. I didn;t have problem with mine at the time but I still get crampy second toe which goes a bit numb and have been told that's an after effect of the epidurals

She did have epidural in past. After that, she had bad cramps and numbness in

both legs for years. Sometimes she would sit right where she was standing.
