Your posts are going directly to my trash, Mayleen. While, in general

steroids are not good for anyone - replacement steroids are a

life-saving - not life-threatening, course of treatment prescribed by

the leading neurosurgeons at Sloan Kettering. Hopefully I won't have

to be on them for long unless my pituitary is permanently damaged.

I see you offering up many types of advice and cure-alls. No one

should try anything without having baseline tests. Medical help is

available for everyone just by going to the ER or a clinic.

ORIGINAL POST from J Thrasher:

Extended use of corticosteroids (more than two weeks) has been associated with

increased risk of Aspergillosis. I reviewed this subject in my paper on

Biocontaminants and complexity in damp indoor spaces. The paper is posted on the

ACHEMMIC web site.

yeah my doctor called this am and said if my asthma isnt better by this

afternoon she is going to give me prednisone. That works. I have been

hospitalized many times for asthma and the steroids always save me. I know it

isnt good to take them but theyt have a place sometimes
