I guess the obvious question, is can you stay somewhere else temporarily? If

you have very bad air, air purifiers will just stir it up and keep it airbourne.

It's not really meant to clean up an indoor air problem but keep allergens down.

It can clean up air with some allergens, mold spores, cat dander etc but not

keep air clean that has a constant source of contamination coming in.
