I REALLY can appreciate this one...when I got my mother (78 years old) an ipad,

we didn't tell my electical engineer brother that she had it-he got to her house

on Easter, and she had set a loaf of bread on it and ask him to slice it-he

FREAKED when he realized what it was (we of course kept the knife away from him

until the joke was over so he didn't inadvertantly start slicing, lol. We all

had a good laugh-my mother is known for bread baking, not electronic gadgets, so

it was a hoot.

Now THAT is funny!!!

And I just got hooked up with wi-fi in my house. Verizon sent me a modem/router.

Had a regular modem before. So naturally all I thought i had to do was

unconnect old one, reconnect new one and BAM, I would then take my tablet and be

on wi fi.

NOT SO!!! You have to set up a wireless network online, name it, get a password,

(It automatically appears on the tablet and don't ask me how), I had to call the

Verizon tech people (first time) and was told " Oh, we have no experience with

Kindle Fire, we have to bump you up to Expert tech support and they will charge

you " . I said " no Thanks'

I figured out how to do the basic stuff BUT I could not connect.

I called them back, got a SMARTER person the second time who just walked me

through (it was my password setting that wasn't allowing me to connect " .

Once I was all wi fi connected guess what I told the guy at the other end? "

" Sir, I don't know who the hell you are, nor do I care, but I love you " .

He burst out laughing.
