Mold in bedroom

Hi all, im hoping someone can help. I found that i had a mouldy mattress and

threw it out. However afterwards i would get symptoms from being in that room

for even just a few minutes. I then ran the air purifier in there for 3 days

straight before sleeping inthere again. That seems to have helped however now i

seem to be reacting once again. There has been rain here over the last few days

and that seems to have flared things up in the room again? Would it be enough to

run a dehumidifier in that room when humidity is high as i dont seem to react in

any other room. The problem seems confined to one room? Im limited in what we

can do as we are renting. I believe this mold may be the cause for my worsening

health over the last few years. I now have mcs, ibs, leaky gut and numerous food

intolerances. When sleeping in that room my ears block up, i sometimes cough,

and i get swollen glands. I usually feel tired in the morning. Blood tests

showed chronic inflammation, hidden infection, mild chronic neutropenia, low wbc

etc etc my health continues to slide downhill and i need to be able to do the

right thing and quickly.

The mold may be concentrated in the carpet as there are no vents in the room for

the problem to be coming from the ceiling? Perhaps vaccuming once a week with

hepa vac and running purifyer and dehumdifier would control the problem since as

i understand it mold cant be killed off?

Also if anyone can point me to a good book on this subject so i could educate

myself better i would really appreciate it. There seems to be a lot of

conflicting advice out there and im a little lost and would love a book

recommendation. Ive heard mold warriors is quite good?
