Guest guest
Sherrill, I will be in Atlanta at the conference. Still debating to take a extra adult to watch kids while in workshops.. or leave the kids home with grandma. I am really hoping in a way to bring them. Last time I was lost with out and only had Dayton with me. How hard that was to visit and go workshop. Oh, on the piano... We have one here..but no one plays.. lol.. Guess I should look into it for and Dayton.. Especially Dayton who got the 'right'ear for music. As for Deanna.. been in the hospital with the flu(despite he got the flu shot). He spent 5 days there and now home but still on oxygen. He is down to 1/2 liter now!! I know also she having computer problems something about AOL and Norton butting heads. I will talk to her today like everyday...lol. tell you ask about her! ,mom to 12yr ,Dayton 7yr and 3yr Re: Conference in Atlanta,GA Hi , I might be going to the conference; I haven't decided yet. Guest guest
Thanks , I won't be at the conference this year but maybe next year. Are you still going? With kids or without? I have never brought my kids to the conference here in Worcester Mass; it's just too long of a day for them. I go with my mother and aunt every year and we leave at 6:15 a.m. and return around 5:00 p.m. Really long day. But it's only one day---would you be gone for longer than that? I miss my kids like crazy even when I'm without them for a whole day. I'm ok if I'm gone for a few hours; actually better than ok; I'm pretty damn ecstatic=---but when I'm gone before they get up in the morning and don't return until their bedtime that kills me. Anyway, the Worcester conference was awesome this year as always and I hope you have a great time at the Atlanta conference. Guest guest
The conference has been put on hold....once again. I am one to never plan that far ahead. Kids are only out of school 8 weeks and I want to fill it up with 'fun' stuff... only if that green stuff keeps flowing. We all love aquariums and have heard so many flip sides on the one in Atlanta... just going to wait a few years. Our goal so far spend a day in Discovery Cove,FL with dolpins... and then Sea World. Then we planning a trip to Ohio for 4th of July. Last night I came across sesame place in PA and for sure think Dayton would LOVE IT!!!!! But the catch it is 20 hrs away.. ugh.. that a long 2 day trip there and 2 long days back... So we will see. Honestly... I never get a night 'away' except when someone sick and I am away from home. My feeling change from kid to kid and moment to moment. The older I get, the more I tend to want to be around...before Dayton, just .. I leave her with grandma take off... now.. NEVER... Just go with them or stay home. Think having kids at 19 and now 31 makes a difference! You do alot of growing and maturing in the late teens and early 20's. WEll I am just rambling... need to get in shower... Dayton flushed several washcloths upstairs and toilet stopped up... so off to walmart for bleach... , mom to 12yr, Dayton 7yr and 3yrs... all happen to have DS Re: Conference in Atlanta,GA Thanks , I won't be at the conference this year but maybe next year.
