no offense taken, but just for the record, i'm of the female gender. i actually

gave birth while living in my first moldy apartment - brings back nightmares.

anyway, thank you for your response. i'm glad that you have found a group of

sympathetic ears. it can be so challenging to be surrounded by judgmental people

who have no idea what you're going through.

Ian: I experienced ths same thing with my opthamologist in NH. She diagnosed

optic neuritis and completely discounted my story about the mold toxins and the

start of my vision problem. Jeanine recently posted an article making the

connection, maybe you could send the article to your doctor as I did. They need

to know the truth and it will only help others in the long run. Take care~ D

I know I`am coming into this in the middle of a discussion but I

just now noticed it. I too have had a dx of optic neuritis by my

eye doctor. He told me to mention it to my neurologist who has since

like most main stream doctors have blown it off. Sounds like it

may be another symptom re: mold exposure.

Mayleen,

I would not had known I had anything wrong other than difficulty

seeing but it was rather hard to describe. I also had good and bad days so that

even made it worse. But when I went in for an eye exam

I didn`t mention anything. He looked into my eye`s and noticed it by

examination.

Hope this helps!
