Guest guest
Hi everyone, I just joined this group last week and I guess it's time to introduce myself. My name is Ann Marie and I have GGG triplets who are 2 1/2. Two are identical and one is fraternal. One of the girls who is identical has many (although they are subtle) features of Ds. (It is possible for a monozygotic twin to have mosaic Ds if the mistake in cell replication happened after the egg split). She has had some genetic testing done for mosaic Ds but nothing has shown up yet. It is possible we have not had enough cells tested or maybe it is a very low percentage of cells that are affected. WE are on a waiting list for another geneticist. All of her therapists and specialists have noticed her features and wondered about the Ds, so it's not just me thinking it. She currently receives OT, PT, Speech, and Teacher of the deaf services through early intervention. Are there any members out there with monozygotic twins, one of whom has mosaic Ds? I'd be very interested to speak to you. Thanks!!
