A biotin supplement has helped my candida (systemic) problem a lot. Perhaps it

will help with other yeasts/fungi problems. Worth a shot. It's very cheap and

available at most suppliment stores.

2mg 3 to 4x/day is what I want to do, but I bought 300 mcg/pill brand and it

still helps a lot, but is far less than what was recommended to me.

Interesting. I've had my vitamin levels checked a couple of time and both came

out particularly low in the B vitamins and many B's have been implicated in

being especially beneficial to many illnesses. I'm not sure why I'm chonically

low in these. At one time I think I may have read that beneficial bacteria in

the gut produce B vitamins or perhaps absorb them? I also came out very low in

amino acids which surprised me because I was trying to follow a low carb/high

protein diet so I figured I would have had high aminos. The exception I had

good levels of B12 which is supposed to be so important and I think a good

source in meat, so I wonder why I'm getting the B12's and not the other B's and

aminos. Something I haven't figured out yet. If I take a high dose B complex I

have to be careful not to take it at night, as it makes me too wide awake, so

try to take it in a.m. or when I'm sleepy or tired during the day.
