Guest guest
Hi Deanna, I think Judy is right you have to go in with the assumption that it is 's right to be with his typical nondisabled peers and that by virtue of his serious needs, then you go through them individually; healthcare, behavior, communication, all his defecits, Once that is outlined in his IEP it will scream out aid of some sort. How will one teacher be able to care for her class of typical kids and too? I will be praying that he gets an aid and at least you can start there. Every child is different and let's see how does before we choose for him. I found this file I had written years ago when Zack went off to Kindergarten and at the IEP I handed out copies and we went through it. Maybe it can help you to be specific. Good luck, Irene Check-in Day!, 2/4/2008, 12:00 am Reminder from: Multiples-DS Yahoo! Group Title: Check-in Day!
