Subject: [] Moldergent and Molderizer

Hi Everyone,

I have read two good reviews of Moldergent (natural mold-removing laundry

detergent) and Molderizer (natural mold-removing spray), but before I spend the

money, I thought I would check with everyone to see what your experience was

with it if you've used it or know someone that has. Thanks in advance and best

wishes;)

I use it, and really like the scent. Also, my MCS friend uses it on her

children's contaminated school uniforms, and it usually works within two

washings. She gave me some as a gift, and it is my favorite laundry scent.

I use Seventh Gen. for " everyday " stuff, but Moldergent for contaminated items

that I want to save.

a,

I haven't used these products either but they look promising in a

couple of areas, not so much in another depending on your

sensitivities.

Accroding to a June, 2009, press release at:

http://www.newsguide.us/health-

medical/allergies/MyCleaningProducts-com-Released-Laundry-

Detergent-Liquid-Moldergent-Safe-Non-Toxic-Detergent-To-

Remove-Virus-Bacteria-and-Mold-From-Clothing-and-Laund/

this product is not dependant on hot water to clean and sanitize.

Cold water washing will work, they claim. That's good news for

several reasons.

What has me concerned for some of us is this statement, " ...their

(sic) are herbal ingredients which can release an amazing

fragrance of feel-good mentality. "

No for me! Frangrance is more of a " killer " for me than mold is.

But this isn't true for everyone. Besides, I'm naturally suspicious

of overworked claims.

BTW, the same press release appears on PRWeb in March,

2009, at: http://www.prweb.com/releases/laundry-detergent-

liquid/green-products/prweb2206664.htm

It's manufactured by Optimal Chemical Inc. which sounds familiar

to me. Maybe you Web researchers out there can find more

about Optimal Chemical Inc.

Is there an MSDS? Do they have an EPA Registration number?

Maybe they don't need one because they aren't claiming anything

other than removing by cleaning. What other products do they

have?
