Guest guest
Ive been treating lyme et al for 3 years so am familiar with what an endotoxin is. My question is are all endotoxins bad, harmful to HLA types particularly the multisuseptable. I know what multisuseptable means but I am still questioning ALL. If it is ALL then fine.. just need the clarification. Then if ALL are their degrees. Does the HLA type " disease " or impairment effect the ability to detox all and to the same degree. It would make sense that if all are " bad " then total body load might also make a difference. What damage do endotoxins do? Is it the endotoxin that damages or the immune response to them or both? Im guessing both. I do not understand the " anatomy " of the HLA types.. what is not working properly and how EXACTLY.. not one has explained this. I have squeezed " missing an enzyme " out of one practioner who has written on the subject. I would love to understand this because otherwise it is like urban legend.. oh well you know there are these HLA types and this happens when that happens but we dont know how but its true.. look at these people over here and how bad off they are. HOW? This is where I could use some basics.. what is am HLA type in regard ot detox..I get what it is in regard to donor tissue typing in a very general way. What does this have to do with biotoxins? How did Shoemaker discover this.. I have the book. Ive read the site.. I still dont get it. I got recently from Rich V on the CFS yasko list that HLA types utilize the TH1 immune response.. so does this mean the immune system doesnt recognize the biotoxin (foreign tissue) and this DOES NOT form or DOES FORM an immune response.. I was told it was a missing enzyme so no immune response but when lookign from a tissue donor angle wouldnt it be the opposite? Then is it an absense of TH1 reponse (if this is true) to the biotoxin then how does this play out.. your body recognizes and kills it, breaks it down so it can be disposed of? Or is it an over reaction of TH1 (if true) response that leads to the inflammation? This basic understanding is just not out there and it would be most helpful for me to get this. When treating infections like like some of us herx like heck constantly. It is non stop inflammation. To control the infection ALWAYS leads to huge amounts of inflammation. Shoemaker does address this as common with mold illess combined with lyme. You cannot tolerate the herx. This is another reason removing from the mold (within sanity's realm) and working on detox specific to biotoxins does make sense. Lyme is a biotoxin. When you kill it, its like killing fungus and you release the biotoxin in full plus you have the upregulated inflammatory (stil ont clear if that is immune regulated inflammatory ) response (Im supposing) to the toxins which will include the load you already carrying.. my understanding so far. The lyme will emit biotoxins alive but I think dumps them all when killed. So I think lyme folks with mold illness are dealing with (1) biotoxin dumps when killing lyme (2) upregulated inflammatory repsonses to the dead lyme and toxins. It should result in less inflammation and probably does for people who can clear the toxins and dont have an upregulated hair trigger inflammatory reaction.. and possibly might if one is managing to clear over time. I have at times felt reprieves but honestly was it just the toxin moving elsewhere such as in my nerves causing inflammation based tremors or gait issues.. as opposed to the whole body has the flu and I cant get off the sofa inflammation? > > If you are controlling/treating infections, that should RESULTS in less inflamation as a natural consequence. They aren't opposites. What is your question concerning endotoxins. They are just a name for toxins that bacteria give off, as described here before by Dr Thrasher. Reading a definition of endotoxins from some place like wiki should answer any questions.
Guest guest
I do not think the HLA types really do not have to do with the endotoxins. I believe any one exposed can suffer damage one way or another. 2. Why sample for endotoxins?Endotoxin is fever causing and has many patho-physiological effects associated with Gram-negative bacterial infection and bacteremia. Response to endotoxin exposure varies with dose, site, or route, and rapidity of release into the blood system. Sub-lethal dose exposure causes dramatic changes in human body temperature, in the hematological, immune, and endocrine systems, and in metabolism. The inhaled endotoxin has been associated with many pulmonary diseases. Endotoxin has been thought to be responsible for the adverse health effects after inhalation of organic dusts. Some inhalation studies showed that endotoxin can cause fever, cough, dyspnea, headache, nose and throat irritation, diffuse aches, nausea, shortness of breath & chest tightness, acute air flow obstruction, and airway inflammation. Endotoxin exposure may also result in low lung function. In the indoor environment, chest tightness, mild fever, and flu-like symptoms experienced by building occupants may be associated with endotoxin exposure. I believe you must look at what you have individually then as a whole, if you cannot take a treatment for one of your conditions that you cannot take it for the other either. So it is a process of illimination. If you are treating lyme thenn you must ellliminate the yeast from your treaments anyway because of the mold exposure etc. I have several conditions and try to work with them in this way.  List all you cannot have due to expsosure(yeasts etc)  to mold then list what you need for what you have and cross reference your needs with what you cannot have to come up with a new list of can haves.  Make sense ??  http://www.aerotechpk.com/Resources/PDF/TP_Endotoxin.pdf   God Bless !! dragonflymcs Mayleen _______________________________ From: listspub <listspub@...> Sent: Sun, September 5, 2010 1:18:19 PM Subject: [] How the HLA Types Work or Not/Immune Stimulants/Re: OT: Beta - Glucan My question is are all endotoxins bad, harmful to HLA types particularly the multisuseptable.
