While, in general steroids are not good for anyone - replacement steroids are a life-saving - not life-threatening, course of treatment prescribed by the leading neurosurgeons at Sloan Kettering. Hopefully I won't have to be on them for long unless my pituitary is permanently damaged. I see you offering up many types of advice and cure-alls. No one should try anything without having baseline tests. Medical help is available for everyone just by going to the ER or a clinic.
