MANY " foods " , cosmetics and personal care products use things you wouldn't

expect, such as bull semen (used as a protein source in protein shampoos, etc)

isinglas (fish bladders) as a fining ingredient for wine, gelatin (jello-made

from the bones, skin, ligamnets and tendons of slaughter cows and pigs) and all

sorts of other nasties. MANY medications use the glands of animals, such as

thyroid medications (Armour thyroid is made by the same company that makes

Armour hot dogs-the leftover glands are used to make hormone replacements). The

most comon hormone PREMARIN used for menopausal women, the name is derived from

PREgnant MARe urINe....yep, horse pee. Sometimes I wish I didn't know such

things, lol

I use the Crystal too, but can't find any more of it.  I used to get it at the

Dollar store.  Do you have a place where they have it on a regular basis?

Hard to find just Deodorant and not an anti-perspirant that has aluminum in

it.  It clogs pores and have lumps from it.  Not to mention what the aluminum

could do.

I do need a supply.  Maybe if I see it again I'll take a larger supply than

just one.

I'm just happy not to be taking any of those things. I switched deoderants and

now use something called Crystal which has no parabens or aluminum.

Hey...baby steps.
