Guest guest
Dennis. Are you saying that you place Hulless Raw Sunflower seeds on a medium, and they shoot up SUNFLOWER GREENS..??? Or are you saying that they simply grow tails and the tails keep growing. These are called SOAKS, not greens. I prefer the Sunny GREENS. Completely different than the soaks. Can you please clarify? Thanks Melody > > I thought I would post this since so many like to eat Sunflower sprouts. Also don't let them set in water... I found no difference between SF sprouts from seeds or hulless. > > Give them a try... They are easier to grow and taste the same... Just rinse more often with clean water and make sure there isn't too much water left over after rinsing. > > Dennis >
Guest guest
Yep, mine grew tails and the tops when put under lights, grew greens. I had no difference from my hulled and un-hulled SF sprouts. They looked and tasted the same. You have to allow the sprouts to grow just like the hull type and give them sunlight or grow lights in my case. Also, I grow my SF in no growing medium. I use no soil, just sprout them in my sprouter. Try it. Dennis > > > > I thought I would post this since so many like to eat Sunflower sprouts.
