Guest guest
Centuries. Millenia. There is always mold everywhere. There is no " nowhere " in " everywhere. " Everywhere means " every where. " Absence of mold, dried up mold, and dead mold compose one of the most common myths about mold. Alive or dead, intact or fragmented it can cause all the same health complaints except infection. What dampness can and will do is to increase the population and size of mold colonies. Therefore, when those colonies create spores (seeds - imagine dandalion fluff) there will be more spores than if the location remained dry. Outdoors, however, the wind can blow them to other locations and the spores/fragments can degrade in UV and other harsh conditions. Indoors, however, mold from the ancient Sphinx has been cultured, meaning it was dormant but still viable. I realize this does not answer your question about when will you be able to leave the house. What I'm suggesting is that if you still have problems when you leave the house you might be reacting to the mold AND something else or to something else. The good news is if indoors is better than outdoors. That means you have a comparatively safe house, which many people don't have. Carl Grimes Healthy Habitats LLC ----- Ok so im sure theres no difinitive answers and it depends on the type of mold etc etc. Its been raining for months, almost all spring here, its normally a dry place so its thankfully starting to dry up now. Anyone have any idea of how long it would take most of the god forsaken outdoor mould to dry up in about 30c weather, are we talking weeks, months? Wld really like to be able to leave the house!! ---------- The following section of this message contains a file attachment prepared for transmission using the Internet MIME message format. Guest guest
Yes mould is everywhere but if its been raining for three months and we will now have two or three months of mostly dry.. About 5 days rain a month im trying to be hopeful that it will dissipate enough that i can go outside?? I suppose we need wind which there is really not much of. I feel so hopeless. Im not reacting to something else since it is near the large colonoes of moss etc that i get biggest reactions, but even in a large patch of dirt when the wind picks up i get reactions. I get reactions inside as well since people bring it in with them. I feel like giving up. With mcs havnt been able to find another location to live and there is mould on window sills throughout this house. I have to hope to god that the uv degrades things quickly?? Im close to losing it. > > Centuries. Millenia. There is always mold everywhere. There is > no " nowhere " in " everywhere. " Everywhere means " every where. Guest guest
Where do you live? Do you live in a valley where there is no circulating air or heavy with trees, etc? I've heard that fall is moldier than rest of year bec mold has been able to build all summer and and as temperatures drop, relative humidity goes up and mold is at it's happiest. Hope for a freeze. Maybe you need hilltop living or away from heavy shade trees. Mold on window frames is not a good sign. > > Yes mould is everywhere but if its been raining for three months and we will now have two or three months of mostly dry.. Im quite concerned about this level of sensitivity, im reacting to slightly moldy vegies that people here are cooking with and seemingly teabags?? What the?? I know tea bags get mody but you would think thats only a problem if you actually drink the tea. No wonder people think im nuts. I have to hope that when i can get away from chemicald this hyperactivity will recede? I have pretty bad mcs too
Guest guest
Maybe you are reacting to something else on the veggies, like pesticide, also pesticide sprayed in area possibly. I would look at other things because a little mold on veggies is not much and will be every place. Veggies are only not moldy when first picked and even then sometimes they have mold on them before picked. > > > > > Where do you live? Guest guest
Yes people can react to tea, try white tea, it is mold free. If you can get yourself to a pristine environment, you will begin to de-tox and your reactivity will back off. If you stay someplace where you are continuing to constantly react, your body does not have a chance to " clear " Find someplace safe. You are wasting time. > > > > > > Yes mould is everywhere but if its been raining for three months and we will now have two or three months of mostly dry.. > > > There are a lot of tress here but its actually spring not fall. Guest guest
Ive been wondering about this.. its been raining here and then a day of overcast I thought I was gogin insane. I wanted to fly out of here to a sunny place. It felt like icky stuff was hanging and stuck in the air. Huge depression at the same time though I also entered a sick WDB (library) with obvious growing mold and ongoing longstanding water issues as per library staff. I dont know which end is up but this makes sense.. and I am smelling everyting and its driving me insane on top of that. Guest guest
I dont know about how they effect, but I started smelling the mold " growing " on veges and fruits recently as I hope part of unmasking and not symptoms getting worse.. I could smell them in Hole Foods and in my fridge after I purchased them. Robin > > Maybe you are reacting to something else on the veggies, like pesticide, also pesticide sprayed in area possibly. Guest guest
The question is... how much time in one location.. you have to give the body a chance to detox. That has to take some time. In mold home.. not as sensitive.. here.. bam.. sensitivties up.. unmasking.. possibly dumping metals now as well.. that takes time. I would think that hyperreaction is a potential good sign up until a point.. when do you start shopping around for an even better place since it seems the place you are in is better than the place you were or you would not be unmasking and detoxing. Guest guest
That might just be an earthy smell. Afterall, they are picked from the ground. I wouldn't worry about that. Not the same as mold growing inside a home where there is a concentration of a few different species and they are putting out toxins that cannot escape the house....and of course the related bacteria. Every time I mention mold I know there is other filth incidentally. It's just too hard to write it each time. > > I dont know about how they effect, but I started smelling the mold " growing " on veges and fruits recently as I hope part of unmasking and not symptoms getting worse.. Guest guest
Yes have been looking almost dull time for 4 weeks, my mcs and lack of funds makes it real hard. Only other option right now is to stay at another friends whos reasonably chem free but he lives near an electricity substation. Not sure whats worse, that or mould and chemicals,. ----- Sent from mBox Mail on my iPad http://www.fluentfactory.com/mboxmail
