Orchid Suites, goes from a " Black Mold Issues, " to withholding information to

the State of California about past employee?

A guy we all know buy the name of Eddie, started working at Orchid Suites hotel,

in March of 2010. As a Engineering Supervisor -- my job was to fix and report

all discrepancies of the Hotel up to and including training staff. Well, as

weeks went by I started to find to many discrepancy's with the hotel and asked

the General Manager, to developed a plan to take care of a " Black Mold " issue.

The General Manager told me

" that mold can't be that bad and that most everybody has a mold issue to some

degree. "

I had a meeting with the General Manager of Orchid Suites, and we talked to the

Corporate Engineering person Jim. I was listening to the plan the General

Manager and the Corporate office was coming up with. They were going to clean

the Black Mold issues up with bleach. While, I believe the issue of " mold, " went

way beyond just a bleach cleaning. In the Government codes they express to not

use bleach as a long term preventive for Black Mold.

Well, the company started their own back up plan for the Black Mold situation

and instead of keeping me employed they decided to give me a letter of

recommendation and terminate my employment. The Corporation was deciding to hide

the mold issue and move on…

It's now been five months I have been let go from the hotel. Now, I get a letter

from the " Unemployment -Riverside, legal department for a phone interview.

The lady on the phone from the unemployment in the Los Angeles area said to me

that " Orchid Suites had no record of my unemployment? " I was speechless. Now I'm

thinking if Orchid Suites hotel, did not pay the state taxes, while, I work

their or if their not trying to pay for my unemployment or if their just trying

to deny my employment, wrongfully, to avoid any witnesses to the " Black Mold

Issue " that the hotel has. A conspiracy to cover-up a heath hazard issue, to

save the great almighty dollar?

I submitted my check stubs. Yes to the unemployment! But the unimaginable

employer that I worked for, I just cant' believe it. The way these business in

America are treating their citizens. I'm to the point were, I believe the

government should pay you to stay home. Just to avoid the danger, the health

risk, the defaming and perjury these corporations in America put their average

citizen in these days! It gives me the creeps just to know people should have to

work for a living. " When in-fact the people of America are just a burning

rotisserie…. "
