Guest guest
There is just no telling what the long term affects from this stuff will be. They are not even factoring in the gases that are coming up with the oil and to add yet another caustic source is just unforgivable. What bothers me the most is two things. the corexit 1. is being sprayed in the air from the planes are airborne. The fumes and Im sure some of the chemical itself is being carried inland. I have also read that the vapors as well as the gases coming up with the oil are actually absorbed by the clouds meaning they can be carried very far inland Thats not even factoring in the death of the wild lie in the water. 2. It is also being released in the water at at least one of the locations where oil is leaking a mile below the surface. This is not only hiding allot of the oil but it is not allowing allot to ever reach the surface. This will cause some really long term effect because that oil (tar balls) will never be cleaned up. All of the above means that those of us already dealing with an overload of things from mold to chemicals and a number of other things might not be able to deal with an over load like this stacked on top of it. Especially due to the nature of these chemicals and gases. What from I dont know but I have had open sores in my nose that will not heal and some skin irritation. I am a couple hundred miles from the coast so I just dont know. The whole situation is just really sad and the end is just not in sight. In fact it is still free flowing from the storm the other day. <sigh...>      ________________________________ From: barb b w <barb1283@...> Sent: Sat, July 3, 2010 2:59:03 PM Subject: [] OT: dispersants used in the Gulf  http://www.cnn.com/2010/US/07/03/gulf.oil.disaster/index.html?video=true & hpt=T2
